Setting realistic career goals is an important task for all high school students. The goal of the technical centers with Henrico County Public Schools is to help students gain professional skills in a number of areas which they can find immediately applicable to a variety of career options.Advanced Career Education Center at Hermitage proudly participates in this vision of providing students with the skills they will use to find fulfillment in their careers and within the community.

Located on the Hermitage High School campus, ACECenter is an extension of all nine Henrico County Public high Schools. Transportation is provided to and from Hermitage Technical Center so that students may conveniently take part in the programs offered.


Students develop leadership and technical skills by participating in the activitiesand competitive events of the co-curricular student organizations including:

  • FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)
  • HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America)
  • SkillsUSA

Advanced Career Education Center students have the opportunity to join the Tech Ethics Society, a student-run service organization and become a member of the national recognized National Technical Honor Society (criteria-based).
