Starting in the 2023-24 school year, Henrico County Public Schools will designate select schools with high rates of vacant positions and provisionally licensed staff as Opportunity Schools through the HCPS Career Ladder. We help our students gain skills in a number of professions which they can find immediately applicable to a variety of career options. The Advanced Career Education Center at Hermitage proudly participates in this vision of providing students with the skills they will use to find fulfillment in their careers and within the community.
The ACE Center is an extension of all nine Henrico County High Schools. We share a campus with Hermitage High School and transportation is provided between your high school and the ACE Center so you may conveniently take part in the programs offered. Students can apply during their 8th, 10th and 11th grade years to attend during their 11th and 12th grade years.
Our students thrive through participation in professional student organizations!
You will develop leadership and technical skills by participating in the activities and competitive events of the co-curricular student organizations that align with the program you attend. We also have school based organizations in which we provide services to the community and recognize CTE academic success.
