The Advanced Career Education Center at Hermitage is an HCPS specialty center that shares a campus with Hermitage High School. Located in the Brookland District, we are one of three ACE Centers within the Henrico County Public School system. Students who wish to attend are considered for admission based on an application process. Students are enrolled in an academic program at their “home” high school while attending the ACE Center for their career specialty. One-year program students attend on an every other day basis. Students in a two-year program typically attend on day one during Junior year and day two Senior year. Veterinary Science is an exception to this as we have first year and second year students on both day one and day two. The majority of our students earn certifications and/or licenses at the end of their program of study.
