The Advanced Career Education (ACE) center at Hermitage is gearing up to launch the 2025–2026 school year with a comprehensive orientation for students and their families, taking place on August 12th and 14th. This annual event serves as a dynamic introduction to the career-focused programs that ACE is known for, from health sciences and media production to culinary arts and criminal justice.
First-year students will begin their experience in the ACE Forum, where they will learn about the structure of ACE’s simulated work environment and the opportunities it provides for hands-on learning in specialized fields. Second-year students will report directly to their classrooms for program-specific updates and post-secondary preparation.
The orientation also offers families the chance to meet instructors, ask questions, size work attire samples, and handle administrative tasks such as fee payment and medication drop-off. With programs ranging from Nurse Aide and Practical Nursing to Game Design and Event Planning, ACE continues to set the standard for career education in Henrico County.
