Students from the ACE Center at Hermitage’s Sports Medicine program were recognized for their outstanding professionalism and quick thinking during Friday night’s football game at Varina.
Jasmine Tinsley and Vincent Cummins assisted in multiple high-pressure situations, including supporting an overdose response, managing hydration for both teams, and helping athletes in the training room. Their teacher, Bobbi Southard, praised their initiative and calm under pressure, noting that they needed little instruction to keep things running smoothly.
Varina’s athletic trainer shared, “You’ve got very helpful students,” while Hermitage’s ATC added, “Thanks kiddos for being great!”
👏 Jasmine and Vincent exemplified the values of the Sports Medicine program and represented ACE at Hermitage with excellence!
