On October 23, 2025, the ACE Center at Hermitage will be formally recognized at the Henrico School Board meeting for receiving a National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Award. This honor celebrates the school's Entrepreneurship Day, a standout event that showcased student innovation, business acumen, and career readiness.
The NACo Achievement Awards recognize exceptional county government programs across the U.S., and Henrico County has consistently led Virginia in the number of awards received. The ACE Center’s Entrepreneurship Day stood out for its hands-on, student-led approach to career education, building on the success of initiatives like the legendary plant sale and integrating real-world business experiences into the curriculum.
