Students from the ACE Center at Hermitage Teacher Apprenticeship (Educators Rising) program earned multiple top placements at the Educators Rising (EdRising) competition held in March, qualifying them for Educators Rising Nationals 2026.
Competing against peers from across the state, ACE at Hermitage students demonstrated strong teaching skills, creativity, professionalism, and a commitment to the future of education. Their impressive performances resulted in several podium finishes across a variety of competitive events.
ACE at Hermitage Educators Rising National Qualifiers include:
1st Place – Public Service Announcement: Jumana Moussawi and Atyah Stevens
1st Place – Teacher Created Materials: Alina Green
2nd Place – Educators Rising Moment (Spanish): Lesly Alvarez
3rd Place – Job Interview: Cyane Bosworth and Zoe El
4th Place – Educators Rising Moment: Tiajia Randolph
5th Place – Educators Rising Moment: Alton Braedon
4th Place – Children’s Literature (K–3rd): An Nguyen
Based on these results, the students will advance to Educators Rising Nationals 2026, which will be held June 20–23 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Qualification for the national conference recognizes these students as emerging leaders in the field of education and highlights the strength of the Teacher Apprenticeship program at ACE Center at Hermitage.
