The ACE Center at Hermitage proudly hosted Entrepreneurship Day 2026 on April 15–16, welcoming students, families, and community members for two days of hands‑on learning, student‑led services, and real‑world business experiences.
Entrepreneurship Day provided ACE students the opportunity to apply their technical and professional skills in authentic business settings. Programs across the building offered student‑run services, product sales, live demonstrations, and interactive experiences, allowing students to showcase how classroom learning translates directly into the workforce and entrepreneurial success.
Highlights of the event included:
Student‑operated service bookings such as cosmetology, barbering, photography, studio sessions, and recording services
Live demonstrations from multiple career programs
Food and beverage offerings prepared and sold by students
The Horticulture Annual Plant Sale, featuring over 100 plant varieties grown and maintained by students
Opportunities for visitors to interact directly with students about their skills, training, and career pathways
Entrepreneurship Day is designed to help students build confidence, strengthen employability skills, and gain firsthand experience in customer service, professionalism, problem‑solving, and business operations—skills essential for success in today’s workforce.
